Has Ilkay Gundogan’s time at Barcelona already come to an end?
The German international signed for the La Liga champions in the summer, but rumours have already started that he could be on his way out.
As noted by Football Espana, the former Manchester City star has been linked with an exit after just five months.
The publication noted that the midfielder is keen to move to Galatasaray and even had his agent reportedly speak to the Turkish side after their UEFA Champions League game against Bayern Munich.

FootballIt’s further reported that he wants to represent the Turkish side before he ultimately retires, and is willing to speak to Barcelona about a move.
Gundogan’s agent, who is also his brother, has since spoken about the rumours surrounding the player, denying that there’s any truth to them, Metro noted.
“The reports in the press these days about Ilkay do not reflect the truth,” Ilhan Gundogan said.
“I did not meet anyone from Galatasaray before the Bayern Munich game to talk about Ilkay. There was no development, meeting or anything that came to us in this regard,” he added.
He continued that he didn’t understand where the rumours came from, as his brother was very happy at Barca.
Despite making 17 appearances for the Blaugrana this season, some think the German is unhappy at the club.
