Conor Gallagher is impressed by his progress so far this season and thinks playing next to Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo shows the level he has reached.
In the past 11 months, the Blues have broken the British transfer record twice, by signing Fernandez for £106.8 million from Benfica and £115 million to sign Caicedo from Brighton.
The two South Americans are marquee signings for the Todd Boehly-led consortium since taking over the club as part of the over £1 billion spent on new arrivals.
Some academy stars were victims of the multiple transfers and were sold to balance the book, including two-time player of the year and Champions League winner Mason Mount.

FootballPer Sky Sports, Gallagher was also set to be axed, but he refused to move despite two offers from London clubs Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham worth £40 million.
Not many fans expected Gallagher to be a regular in the first 11, but injuries to Romeo Lavia and Christopher Nkunku meant he had his chance and took it.
Speaking on international duty with England, as quoted by Mirror UK, he used his current situation at the club side to assess his progress and what playing next to expensive players means to him.
“I’m very confident in my ability and what I can do. Training and playing alongside midfielders worth 100 plus million pounds is good and shows where I’m at as well. So hopefully, I can continue to perform well to keep playing as many games as I can,” he said.
