Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has been slapped with a one-match ban after he picked up his third yellow card of the season during his side's clash against Luton Town.
The Red Devils hosted Luton at Old Trafford on Saturday, with the Premier League tie coming just days after they suffered a 3-4 heartbreaking defeat in the Champions League against FC Copenhagen.
However, ten Hag's charges did enough to ease pressure on him by securing a 1-0 slim win over The Hatters.
The Mirror reports that Victor Lindelof's second-half goal was the only difference, with the result moving United to sixth in the Premier League standings.

FootballHowever, it came at a cost, as ten Hag was handed a one-match ban after he was booked towards the end of the match.
The Dutchman was shown the yellow card in the 95th minute of the weekend clash for complaining about the award of a throw-in.
This was his third yellow card of the season, having previously been booked against Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.
ten Hag will now serve a one-game touchline ban as per new Premier League guidelines, meaning he will miss the trip to Goodison Park to face Everton after the international break.
"We have a very competent coaching staff and they will take over," ten Hag said, per Metro UK, while commenting on his ban.
