The England international was part of the Chelsea squad that ended Spurs' Premier League unbeaten run during the encounter.

According to Sky Sports, Nicolas Jackson scored a hat-trick to inspire the Blues to victory, in what was described as one of the wildest games in the history of the Premier League.

The derby, which had virtually everything in it, saw five goals disallowed, two red cards shown, and nine VAR checks.

Why Sterling is facing FA ban

Sportbible reports that a video shared on Chelsea's official TikTok video could possibly see the forward slapped with an FA ban.

The clip shows a missile being thrown at the feet of Cole Palmer after the youngster scored a first-half penalty, with Sterling seen bending down before appearing to throw the projectile back to the fans.

However, it is unclear if the projectile landed in the stands.

An FA spokesperson has since disclosed that the video is being reviewed to determine if any action will be taken against the Chelsea ace.

Last season, Tottenham's Richarlison landed himself in trouble after he was found guilty of improper conduct for throwing a lit flare into the crowd during his time at Everton.

The forward was subsequently handed a one-match ban and a fine of £25,000.

Sterling shares secret to his form

Sports Brief also previously reported on Sterling disclosing the secret of his form after becoming one of Mauricio Pochettino's most important players this season under a new era at the club.

The Jamaican-born player revealed he returned to being obsessed with football, where nothing else matters to him. He added that he worked on his diet, which has seen him physically improve.
