The Arsenal forward was supposed to be the deputy to Gabriel Jesus but has led the line many times due to the Brazilian's recurrent injuries, which started in December 2022. He scored thrice in the 5-0 win over Sheffield United, becoming the 22nd player to score a hat-trick for the Gunners on a Saturday, per Arsenal.com.

3 - Ollie Watkins vs Brighton

In one of the season's biggest surprises so far, Aston Villa battered Brighton 6-1 and English striker, Watkins scored three of those goals. It was the second triple of his Premier League career, with the first coming against Liverpool in the 2020/21 season.

4 - Evan Ferguson vs Newcastle

Brighton and Hove Albion have been involved in some of the highest-scoring games this season and have scored and conceded in all their 11 games. Early in the season, the Seagulls beat Newcastle United 3-1, with young Irish striker, Evan Ferguson bagging all three goals. Per Goal, he is attracting interest from big clubs and Brighton have set an asking price of £120mil.

5 - Erling Haaland vs Fulham

Last season's Golden Boot winner, Haaland scored a hat-trick to help Manchester City beat Fulham 5-1. It was his seventh triple for the club and his fifth in the league despite joining the club last season from Borussia Dortmund.

6 - Heung-min Son vs Burnley

Tottenham captain, Son scored the season's first hat-trick as Ange Postecoglou's men put Vincent Kompany's Burnley to the sword with a 5-2 scoreline. They are the second team in the league this season to score and concede a hat-trick after Brighton.

Jackson hits Ronaldo's celebration

Sports Brief also reported on Jackson doing Cristiano Ronaldo's 'Siuuu' after scoring his third goal in the demolition of a nine-man Tottenham Hotspur to loud cheers from the away end.
