Africa's best are taking their first steps on the road to North America.
Benin have been among the first to name their squad for the upcoming international window.
The West Africans have been drawn in the same group as Nigeria, South Africa, Lesotho, Zimbabwe and Rwanda.
Gernot Rohr has named his squad, which included 17-year-old Prince Ricardo Dossou. The teenager still plays his football in Benin but fans are watching his next move closely.
Their first test will be against South Africa on November 18 before a clash with Lesotho on November 21

They do have a positive result to their name, however, as Rwanda where forced to hand over three points after their 1-1 draw. Rwanda were punished for fielding an ineligible player who failed to serve a required ban.
Africa's representation at the 2026 FIFA World Cup has been increased to a minimum of nine. Each group will directly qualify for the World Cup, while the four best group runners-up will participate in play-offs.
The 2026 tournament is the first expansion since 1998 and will feature 12 groups of four teams followed by a 32-team knockout bracket.

South Africa's qualifier with Benin is scheduled for November 18 at Moses Mabhida Stadium, with kick-off at 3pm.
