Manchester United midfielder Casemiro could reportedly depart Old Trafford ahead of the January transfer window.

The Brazilian joined the Red Devils in the summer of 2022 from La Liga giants Real Madrid for an initial £60m plus £10m in add-ons.

According to Sky Sports, Casemiro signed a four-year contract with the option of a further 12 months at Old Trafford.

The 30-year-old has gone on to form an important part of Erik ten Hag's team and played a key role in the team's impressive third-place finish in the Premier League in his debut season.

According to Sportbible, a number of Saudi clubs are on a red alert, having been identified as a primary target for the Saudi Pro League.

It is understood that, unlike the likes of Bruno Fernande, who have also been linked with a move to the Middle East, Casemiro's transfer looks more plausible.

It has been claimed that United could be open to offloading him as they look to recoup a large chunk of their initial expense on the Brazilian.
