Former Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu is set to marry his long-time girlfriend, Reggietta Affua Arthur.

The 32-year-old shared pre-wedding photos online, indicating his readiness to settle down with his lover.

The date and location for the ceremony are yet to be announced, but the U20 World Cup winner is officially off the market.

In photos shared on social media, Agyemang-Badu and his soon-to-be wife looked amazing together as they shared their love with the rest of the world.

Agyemang-Badu, who is yet to hang up his boots, announced his retirement from international football in 2022 following a long absence from the national team.

The ex-Udinese star returned to Ghana in 2021 after ending his stay in Europe and joined Ghana Premier League outfit Accra Great Olympics last season.

He, however, left after just a season, and he is currently unattached.

During his time abroad, Agyemang-Badu featured for Italian sides Udinese and Hellas Verona before later playing for Qingdao FC and Bursaspor, per transfermarkt.

Agyemang-Badu is celebrated in Ghana for scoring the winning penalty at the FIFA U20 World Cup final against Brazil in 2009.

Agyemang-Badu hopeful despite friendly defeats

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Former Black Stars midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu was worried by the form of the Ghana national team following defeats to Mexico and the United States.

However, the ex-Udinese player believes the team will be ready for next month's World Cup qualifiers and the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

Ghana lost 2-0 to Mexico in Charlotte before they were hammered by a brilliant USA team in Nashville on Wednesday.

Agyemang-Badu compares Isshaku to Abedi Pele

Sports Brief also reported that former Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu says Fatawu Issahaku is the country's new Abedi Pele.

Agyemang Badu sees similarities in the style of play between the teenager and Ghana's legend Abedi Pele, who also burst onto the scene at a very young age.

In an interview with Starr FM, the midfield powerhouse explained that Fatawu is the next big thing for Ghana.
