Cristiano Ronaldo turned 38 in February, but the Al Nassr striker shows no signs of slowing down as he currently leads the scorers' chart for the 2023/24 season.
The Portugal forward netted a screamer against Al-Khaleej on Saturday in the Saudi Pro League and has scored a whopping 25 goals this season in all competitions for Al Nassr and Portugal.
According to Talk Sports, Ronaldo's effort is his 400th goal since he turned 30 as the former Manchester United striker now leads the scorers' chart for this season ahead of Harry Kane and Erling Haaland.
Kane has scored a total of 19 goals in all competitions this season for Bayern Munich, while Manchester City forward Haaland has a total of 16 goals as the race for the top scorers' award heats up.
Ronaldo missed out on the 2023 Ballon d’Or award after not being nominated for the prestigious award won by long-term rival Lionel Messi.
Ronaldo to miss Al Nassr’s next game
Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo will not play in Al-Nassr's next AFC Champions League match against Al-Duhail on Tuesday after being excluded from the matchday squad by head coach Luis Castro per GOAL.
The 38-year-old forward has been rested for the crucial game for Al Nassr, which will ensure their qualification to the knockout stage of the Champions League with just a draw.
Ronaldo has scored three goals already in the AFC Champions League this season, but the Portugal superstar will play no part as his team seeks to progress to the next round of the competition.
