  • A former Arsenal star has advised him on his future ahead of the summer

A former Arsenal star has advised Kylian Mbappe to remain with Paris Saint-Germain and turn down interest from Real Madrid, who could move for him again.

Nasri issues future advice to Mbappe

The football world is preparing to enter the third summer of a prolonged transfer tussle between Mbappe, PSG, and Real Madrid by the end of this season.

However, former France international, Samir Nasri has advised the 24-year-old on what to do ahead of another possible showdown for his signature.

He acknowledged that PSG would find it difficult to replace Mbappe if he leaves, reiterating his description of the French star the best player in the world.

Nasri told Le10Sport:

"He is from the Paris region: I - in his place - I would stay at PSG, instead of going to Madrid, to win the 50th Champions League for Real [Madrid]. If Olympique Marseille had been owned by Qatar when I was at the club, I would never have left. I think it is better to be the king in your village."

Madrid denies Mbappe negotiations

Meanwhile, Spanish and French media have claimed there was an agreement between Mbappe and Real Madrid, which was denied via an official statement.

"Real Madrid C.F. would like to state that this information is categorically false and that no such negotiations have taken place with any player belonging to PSG," a part of the statement reads.

Ferdinand picks Mbappe over Haaland

Sports Brief previously reported on Rio Ferdinand picking Mbappe over Erling Haaland as the better all-rounder among the two heirs apparent to Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Manchester United legend applauded the Manchester City ace as a 'crazy goal-scorer' but boldly claimed that by the end of their careers, the Frenchman would be a better player.
