Bonginkosi Ntuli got the world talking when he walked down the aisle with the Chief Executive Officer of AmaZulu FC, Sinenjabulo Zungu in a colourful wedding ceremony.
In May, the pair inspired many with their traditional ceremony as the striker sealed the union with the daughter of club president and wealthy businessman, Sandile Zungu.
On September 10, the couple had their white wedding, which was attended by celebrities, family, and well-wishers.
Ntuli was the club captain and his marriage to S’ne, as she is fondly called, added an extra layer to his connection with the club.
The union became a special moment not just for his life, but also for his professional footballing career.
According to South African outlet, Bona, the Zungu family had been extremely supportive of their relationship and were pleased to welcome Bongi into their family.
Helping her father run AmaZulu one year after he purchased the team in 2020, Sinenjabulo Zungu focuses on running the club as a business.
Her role as the CEO includes interacting with the supporters, monitoring team performance and general improvement of the team affairs.
According to The South African, Zungu has a diverse background as she has experience in a range of fields. She has been involved in promoting fast-moving consumer goods through technology and advertising.
Her love for sports is unquestionable, as she advocates for the inclusion of more women, especially in decision-making positions.
