  • Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to make an appearance at WWE's Crown Jewel on Saturday, November 4
  • Ronaldo and Al-Nassr play on Saturday against Al-Khaleej in the Saudi Pro League
  • It is unclear if he will make an appearance later that night

Al-Nassr striker Cristiano Ronaldo could make an appearance in WWE's Crown Jewel on Saturday, November 4, in Saudi Arabia.

The veteran footballer could receive a handsome appearance fee if he agrees with the wrestling promotion on a possible cameo in the show.

The only problem is Ronaldo and Al-Nassr play on Saturday, November 4, at 9. 00 p.m. local time against Al-Khaleej. Crown Jewel is set for 8.00 p.m. local time.

It is unclear how long the event will be, but it is expected to take a couple of hours at least, considering top names will be performing.

John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, Rhea Ripley, Roman Reigns, Rey Mysterio, Logan Paul, and Bianca Belair will be in action. Therefore, it is going to be a huge event.

Ronaldo was ringside in the Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou heavyweight boxing bout.

Will Ronaldo be at Crown Jewel?

Ronaldo's involvement with Al-Nassr means he is unlikely to make an appearance even after their Saudi Pro League game, per GOAL.

The 38-year-old was reportedly expected to make an appearance during John Cena's segment, but the clash of schedules may make that difficult. Moreover, Ronaldo is fully healthy and played 120 minutes in Al-Nassr's last game.

Since 2013, WWE has had a partnership with Saudi Arabia to hold events in the Middle Eastern country. It started with LIVE house shows, then evolved to Pay-per-view (PPV) events.

If Ronaldo does end up making an appearance, he will join a long list of celebrities who have appeared in the promotion. Jose Mourinho and Wayne Rooney are some football personalities who've made an appearance at a WWE event.

WWE is an event Saudi Arabia has been investing in in the last few years. They have now poured money into football, Formula 1, golf and other sports. They are set to host the 2034 World Cup.

Ronaldo reacts to Messi's Ballon d'Or award

A curious turn of events followed Lionel Messi's recent Ballon d'Or victory when Ronaldo seemingly endorsed and commented on an Instagram post that appeared to ridicule the Argentine.

Diario AS journalist Tomas Roncero sparked controversy on social media by dissecting the Inter Miami captain's unprecedented eighth win and questioning his previous award successes.

A check by Sports Brief revealed Ronaldo liked and commented on the video posted on AS Television's Instagram page, contributing to the narrative surrounding Messi's eighth Ballon d'Or.
