FootballMarcus Rashford: Manchester United Star Spotted Partying Hours After Derby Defeat Amid Loss of Form
- Marcus Rashford reportedly went out partying after Manchester United's derby defeat to Manchester City on October 29
- Erling Haaland scored twice, with Phil Foden getting the other goal to condemn their neighbours to another defeat
- Rashford put in another below-par performance to extend his goal drought to 9 games in all competitions
Erik ten Hag might have to deal with another disciplinary issue sooner than expected after Marcus Rahsford reportedly went out clubbing on Sunday night.
The incident is said to have taken place just hours after Manchester United suffered a heavy 3-0 defeat at the hands of their cross-city rivals, Manchester City.
Pep Guardiola's side dominated the encounter at Old Trafford to close the gap between them and league leaders Tottenham Hotspur to two points.
Rashford put in another dismal performance to continue a woeful run of form for his club this season. The forward has been a sorry shadow of the one that took the world by storm after the World Cup break.
Against Manchester City, the England international missed decent chances to put his side on the scoresheet, with Erling Haaland and Phil Foden punishing them on the other end.
Rashford spotted at Chinawhite
The Telegraph now reports that Rashford went to the high-end Chinawhite for what has been termed a preplanned personal event to celebrate his 26th birthday.
The party went on until late, but it is unclear if Rashford stayed until then. He trained with the rest of the squad on Monday morning.
He was taken off in the 86th minute for Anthony Martial. He last scored for his club in their 3-1 defeat to Arsenal back at the start of September.
It remains to be seen whether his social activities will set off ten Hag, who has established a strict code of conduct since his appointment last summer. He dropped Rashford last season after the forward arrived 45 seconds late for a briefing, as reported by the Guardian.

United resolve to sell Sancho
At the same time, Sports Brief earlier reported that Manchester United have resolved to offload Jadon Sancho ahead of the upcoming January transfer window.
With Sancho's strained relationship with ten Hag seemingly beyond repair, reports claim that United chiefs have made the decision to offload the England international.
The Red Devils are preparing to offload the forward in January after he failed to show any desire to end his feud with ten Hag.
