Jude Bellingham’s impressive goalscoring prowess this season has got former England international Gary Lineker calling for the Real Madrid star to switch his playing position in the future.
The 20-year-old midfielder has seen a phenomenal rise in his career after netting 11 goals in his first 12 appearances for Real Madrid following his summer switch from Borussia Dortmund.
According to Daily Mirror, Lineker has now tipped Bellingham to switch to a centre-forward role for England when Harry Kane retires from the national team in the future.
"The way he has started at Real gives Gareth Southgate a great option. If something happens to Harry Kane – or after he is finished because Harry is now 30 – Jude could play at centre-forward, as a false nine if you like.”
Bellingham was fantastic in England’s 3-1 win over Italy, which saw the Three Lions qualify for Euro 2024 with two games to spare.

Meanwhile, Jude Bellingham has hailed Cristiano Ronaldo’s ‘Calma’ celebration as one of his favourite El Clasico memories as he looks ahead to this weekend’s clash against Barcelona, MARCA reports.
