Joao Felix has subtly taunted Real Madrid in the build-up to the highly-anticipated El Clasico match between Barcelona and Real Madrid scheduled for Saturday, October 27.
Currently on a season-long loan at Barcelona, the young talent has quickly won over the fans with an impressive record of seven goal contributions (three goals and four assists) in 10 appearances across all competitions.
As he gears up for his first appearance in the most significant fixture on the Spanish football calendar, the 23-year-old has demonstrated his excitement for the upcoming showdown, showcasing his commitment to the specific El Clasico divide he represents.
Additionally, he made a veiled reference to Barcelona's memorable 4-0 victory over Real Madrid from a couple of seasons ago.
"I remember the 4-0 at the Bernabeu. We talked about it in the locker room," Felix told DAZN, as cited by Tribuna.
"I've always watched El Clasicos, and I've always been on Barca's side," the Portuguese added.
The former Benfica star will be hoping to get his first win against Los Blancos when Barca host Madrid at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys in the first instalment of the El Clasico.
According to Transfermarkt, Felix has not won a game against the White Angels, drawing twice and losing on six occasions, across all competitions.

Match Preview: Barcelona vs Real Madrid
Sports Brief also reported that the much-awaited initial clash of the 2023/24 El Clasico season has arrived, as Barcelona prepares to host long-standing rivals Real Madrid at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys, both teams vying for the honour and pride at stake.
With just one point separating the two sides after ten league games, securing a victory holds immense significance in determining the trajectory of the season for either team.
For Madrid, a loss on Saturday would mean surrendering their advantageous position on the league table to their rivals. Conversely, this match carries the weight of redemption, as they aim to avenge their dual defeats to Barcelona in the previous La Liga season.
