Sergio Aguero has made his prediction for the Manchester United vs Man City Premier League clash set for Sunday, October 29.

Erik ten Hag's men have recorded four defeats in nine of their opening matches of the campaign, losing to the likes of Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

However, the Red Devils have appeared to pick up some momentum in recent days, having won back-to-back EPL games against Burnley and Sheffield United.

City, meanwhile, have been impressive so far, winning seven of their nine opening fixtures of the season to sit second in the standings with 21 points.

Aguero predicts Man United vs City cracker

While City are the odds favourites to win the Manchester derby this Sunday, per Manchester Evening News, Aguero is predicting a tough encounter at the Theatre of Dreams.

According to the legendary striker, form will play a central role in deciding the winner of the fixture.

"It'll be a difficult game. Form will matter for sure, but City will have a good performance. I don't think United have ever been weak. They've always had great players and they've always shown that ability to recover from bad periods and get back into the fray," he told Stake.
"Derbies are special matches, always. They are quite intense as an experience," he added.

United consider De Gea reunion

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Manchester United are said to be considering a stunning move to re-sign David de Gea on a short-term deal.

De Gea left Old Trafford at the end of last season after the expiry of his contract with the Red Devils.
