Ghanaian youngster, Fatawu Ganiyu has popped up on the radar of European giants, Bayern Munich and Chelsea, ahead of the winter transfer window.

The 16-year-old caught the attention of European clubs following his impressive displays at the UEFA Youth Championship in Serbia earlier this year.

Ganiyu was part of the Ghana U16 team that defeated Serbia, Switzerland and Spain to win the tournament.

According to GHANASoccernet, Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg are also interested in the talented midfielder.

The teen sensation is expected to travel to Europe next month and has been scheduled to watch a UEFA Champions League game involving French outfit RC Lens.

Ganiyu will train with the youth sides of these clubs before a decision is made.

Meanwhile, the youngster is currently on the books of Louis Bell's Fa Sport.

In recent times Ghana has become the hub of talents, with the likes of Mohammed Kudus, Kamaldeen Sulemana, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku and Ernest Nuamah all coming through the ranks.

Ghana remains the only country from Africa to win the FIFA U20 World Cup, as reported by cbc.ca.

Black Starlets win UEFA Dev't tournament

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that the Black Starlets of Ghana have emerged as champions of the 2023 UEFA U16 Development Tournament in Serbia.

Ghana defeated Switzerland 3-2 on Tuesday morning to finish the tournament with a 100% record.

A brace from Asumadu Ramsey and Debrah Bossman's strike ensured the West African nation secured a hard-fought 3-2 win in their final game.

Osman Bukari visits Black Starlets in Serbia

Sports Brief also reported that Ghana winger, Osman Bukari visited players of the national U17 team in Serbia.

The Black Starlets are taking part in the UEFA U16 Developmental tournament currently ongoing in the European country.

Bukari, who is an integral member of the Black Stars, the country's senior team, watched the U17 team defeat Spain in their second game at the tournament.
