Super Falcons star Rasheedat Ajibade, who identifies as a Christian, has continued to spread the word of God as she was spotted reading the Yoruba Bible while preaching to her teammates and fans ahead of Nigeria's Olympic qualifiers against Ethiopia in Addis Ababa.

The Atletico Madrid forward is known for using her social media platforms to give insights into the word of God and actively practices Christianity in her daily activities.

The Super Falcons faced the Lucys of Ethiopia at the Abebe Bikila Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.

Ajibade led by example by scoring Nigeria's only goal in the game in the 52nd minute.

Ahead of the game in Addis Ababa, the Super Falcons attacker was spotted preaching to his teammates and followers in her hotel room, according to NPFL Updates.

She shared a video of her preaching and reading the Yoruba bible on her official page on TikTok, with the caption: "One major way we can grow our relationship with Christ is through the word of God.....so let do our absolute best to stay consistent."

The viral video of her preaching stirred a lot of reactions from fans on TikTok.

Ajibade leads preaching of Jesus in Lagos

Sports Brief earlier reported that Ajibade gathered volunteers into the Makoko slum in Lagos, where they reached out to residents.

Residents, including men, women and children, were handed bibles, food and drinks as the message of salvation was also preached to them.

There have been misconceptions about the footballer, as her first name ‘Rasheedat’ is commonly associated with Islam.
