Messi and Ronaldo have dominated the football scene for the last two decades, with the pair winning an incredible 12 Ballon d'Or awards between them.
While much of their success has come at club level, they have made equal contribution to the success of their countries at the international level.
Their contribution ranges from goals to providing leadership both on and off the pitch, as well as helping their teammates score.
