Chelsea summer signing, Cole Palmer has apologised for throwing a bottle at Mauricio Pochettino during the London derby against rivals Arsenal.
Palmer was among the goalscorers as the two Premier League giants played out a 2-2 draw over the weekend at Stamford Bridge.
According to BBC Sport, the former Manchester City star opened the scoring for the Blues in the 15th minute from the penalty spot.
Mykhailo Mudryk doubled the advantage with a screamer shortly after the break before the Gunners staged a thrilling comeback to secure a point.
Declan Rice and Leandro Trossard both found the back of the net to nullify Chelsea's opening goals.
Palmer apologises to Pochettino
The Mirror reports that the match was marked with a minor incident involving Palmer and Pochettino.
The publication reports that the youngster hit the Chelsea boss with a water bottle shortly after the ex-Man City ace had been replaced by Reece James.
However, Palmer is seemingly regretting his actions and has since apologised to his manager.
"When they scored their second goal I was getting a drink," Palmer explained to Chelsea's club website.
"I went to throw the bottle away, as you do, but didn't look. I just saw it loop dead slow and hit the gaffer. I said sorry to him and apologised properly after the game. Hopefully, he won't drop me for that," he added.
Sterling and Palmer argue over penalty
Sports Brief also reported on Raheem Sterling and Palmer arguing over who would take the contentious penalty given to the Blues in their 2-2 draw against Arsenal.
The two former Manchester City stars were dragging the ball before Argentina midfielder Enzo Fernandez waded in and passed the ball to the 21-year-old, who scored, and the whole team brushed it aside and celebrated the goal.
