West Ham United manager, David Moyes says he is tempted to start Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus in the Premier League after his side's defeat to Aston Villa on Sunday.
The Ghana international once again made a substitute appearance as the Hammers suffered a 4-1 defeat at Villa Park.
Kudus has impressed since joining the club in the summer transfer window, scoring three goals in nine matches, including the equalizer in the 2-2 draw against Newcastle United.
However, he has yet to start a Premier League game for the club.
“I’m tempted to start Kudus every game,” Moyes said in the post-match presser, as quoted by standard.co.uk.
“But I have to be fair and say that the team’s played quite well. Obviously, we’ve got a balance that we’re trying to find and get that right as well.
“Sometimes our balance has been very good and got us some good results. Now and again sometimes it can cause you problems as well.”
In a one-sided game at Villa Park, Douglas Luis netted a brace to add to goals from Ollie Watkins and Leon Baily as Unai Emery's men continue their impressive home run.
Kudus is expected to start in the Europa League game against Olympiakos on Thursday, as reported by whufc.com.
Moyes ready to hand Kudus starting role
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that David Moyes has disclosed that Mohammed Kudus is close to making a start in the English Premier League.
The 23-year-old has made eight appearances for the Hammers since joining the club from Dutch Eredivisie giants Ajax Amsterdam.

Kudus scores debut EPL goal against Newcastle
Ghanaian midfielder, Mohammed Kudus came off the bench to score a late equaliser as West Ham United shared the spoils with Newcastle United in the Premier League on Sunday.
The former Ajax midfielder, who started in the Europa League game in midweek, replaced Tomas Soucek with 15 minutes remaining as the Hammers trailed 2-1 at the Olympic Stadium.
Kudus then fired a shot from outside the box to level the scores with two minutes left, helping to salvage a point for the hosts.
