Real Madrid have denied that veteran midfielder Luka Modric could be on his way out of the club in January as speculation surrounds his future with the La Liga club.

According to GOAL, Real Madrid CEO Jose Angel Sanchez has swiftly denied the swirling speculation around Modric by confirming that they are not in any negotiations for his sale with any Saudi club.
"There are no official negotiations on the part of Saudi League officials to include Luca during next January, and we have no idea about his departure from the team at the present time."
Modric has voiced his frustration at being left out of most games this season by Carlo Ancelotti, with reports suggesting the Croatian midfielder will seek a move away at the end of the season.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid supporters are hoping to see Modric back at his best and potentially secure a more prominent role in Carlo Ancelotti's plans in subsequent games, Clutch Points reports.
The 38-year-old midfielder has made just three starts in eight appearances for Los Blancos this season and has been used as a substitute five times, accumulating 307 minutes of playing time.
