David de Gea has sent Manchester United fans into a meltdown with another cryptic post on social media.
The Spaniard is currently without a club, having quit the Red Devils at the end of last season upon the expiry of his contract.
De Gea was linked with a summer move to Bayern Munich, while a switch to Inter Milan was also rumoured.
However, none of the proposed transfer moves saw the light of day, leaving the Spain international a free agent going into the new season.
Be that as it may, there has been speculation that the former Atletico Madrid star could rejoin United, especially after his successor, Andre Onana has been struggling to settle in at Old Trafford since his arrival.
The Mirror reports that De Gea recently sparked rumours of a possible return to the Theatre of Dreams after he was spotted in Manchester for the first time since his return.
