- Sancho's imminent departure comes after he fell out with Erik ten Hag
Manchester United have reportedly identified La Liga star Takefusa Kubo as a possible replacement for Jadon Sancho.
Sancho is staring at an uncertain future with the Red Devils after he fell out with club boss Erik ten Hag.
The duo publicly differed back in September when Ten Hag dropped the winger from the squad that lost to Arsenal in the Premier League.
At the time, the Dutchman claimed he dropped Sancho over below-par performances during training.
However, the former Borussia Dortmund star later took to social media to call out Ten Hag, accusing him of dishonesty.
The Englishman's outbursts earned him a suspension from the first team, with The Mirror reporting that United have already made the decision to offload the winger in January.
Man United want Kubo to replace Sancho
Sportskeeda claims that the Premier League giants have since lined up Kubo to replace the embattled England international.
Kubo, a former Real Madrid sensation, has enjoyed a stunning rise to prominence in the La Liga in recent months.
It is understood that Ten Hag has since sent scouts to Spain to monitor the performance of the Real Sociedad ace, with the view of signing him for United.
Kubo has been sensational for Sociedad since he joined them, having already bagged 14 goals and 11 assists in 54 appearances for the club.
