Harry Kane has become the fastest Bayern Munich player to score nine Bundesliga goals in a season, maintaining his flying start with the reigning German champions.
The 30-year-old forward, who joined the Bavarians this summer from Premier League side Tottenham, was on target again in the 3-1 victory against Mainz 3-1 on Saturday.
According to Sky Sports, Kingsley Coman and Leon Goretzka were also on target for Bayern Munich as the Bundesliga champions move to within two points of leaders Bayer Leverkusen.
Kane has now entered the history books at Bayern, becoming the fastest player to score nine goals in the Bundesliga after just eight league appearances following his strike against Mainz.
Only Gert Dorfel (7 games), Paco Alcacer (7) and Erling Haaland (6) are ahead of Kane in terms of the fastest players to score eight goals in the Bundesliga.
Kane will next travel with the rest of the Bayern Munich squad to Galatasaray as they face the Turkish giants in the group stages of the Champions League on Tuesday.
