Kylian Mbappe has found his goalscoring touch again after netting in Paris Saint-Germain’s 3-0 victory against Strasbourg on Saturday, October 21.

The 24-year-old forward has failed to score in his last four games for PSG, but he ended his drought in front of goal after converting from the penalty spot to give PSG the lead at the Parc des Princes.

According to Sports Mole, Mbappe has become the first player since Jimmy Greaves to score 172 goals in a top-five European league before the age of 25.

Greaves, who represented Tottenham, Chelsea, and AC Milan, scored his goals between 1957 and 1965, a record that lasted for 58 years before Mbappe equalled it on Saturday.

Mbappe is already PSG's all-time leading goalscorer, and the 2022 World Cup Golden Boot winner looks set to claim another Ligue 1 Golden Boot after topping the standings in each of the previous five seasons.

Mbappe clicks back into gear

Meanwhile, Kylian Mbappe got a goal and an assist as Paris Saint-Germain picked up another win ahead of their Champions League meeting with AC Milan, GOAL reports.

The 24-year-old forward ran the show for the Parisians as they picked up a comfortable 3-0 win against Strasbourg in Ligue 1 on Saturday as he was constantly involved and gave his side an early lead with a perfectly executed penalty to end a goal drought that lasted four games.

Mbappe was unstoppable against the visitors' defence, and he went on to set up his team's second goal with some excellent trickery before slamming it into a dangerous area where Carlos Soler was able to divert it in.

Mbappe ready to leave Paris Saint Germain

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Kylian Mbappe looks set to bring to an end his seven-year reign at Paris Saint-Germain, with reports suggesting he is now willing to leave the Parisians for free in 2024.

The 24-year-old forward has been in a standoff with the reigning Ligue 1 champions for refusing to extend his contract, which is set to expire at the end of the season.

Real Madrid are still interested in signing Mbappe, with club president Florentino Perez wanting guarantees from the forward that he will sign with Los Blancos to avoid the embarrassment live before.
