The 24-year-old forward has failed to score in his last four games for PSG, but he ended his drought in front of goal after converting from the penalty spot to give PSG the lead at the Parc des Princes.
According to Sports Mole, Mbappe has become the first player since Jimmy Greaves to score 172 goals in a top-five European league before the age of 25.
Greaves, who represented Tottenham, Chelsea, and AC Milan, scored his goals between 1957 and 1965, a record that lasted for 58 years before Mbappe equalled it on Saturday.
