  • Sancho has endured a tumultuous spell with United since he joined them from Borussia Dortmund

Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho is facing an uncertain future at Old Trafford after he fell out with Erik ten Hag.

Sancho and Ten Hag are currently not on talking terms after the latter publicly criticised the Dutchman last month.

Daily Star reports that the England international took to social media to call out the United boss following his decision to drop him from the squad that lost to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

The 23-year-old has since been frozen out of the first team and left to train by himself at Carrington after he reportedly refused to apologise to Ten Hag for his behaviour.

According to The Mirror, United have already made the decision to offload the former Borussia Dortmund ace ahead of the January transfer window.

A departure from Old Trafford will afford Sancho an opportunity to redeem himself after an underwhelming spell with the Red Devils.

The Englishman has struggled to live up to his £73million-price tag since his arrival from Dortmund in 2021, having managed just 12 goals and six assists in 82 appearances for United.

Despite his struggles at the Theatre of Dreams, Sancho is expected to court interest from top clubs when the time comes for him to depart.

Sports Brief takes a look at five clubs the winger could join.

5. Newcastle United

The Magpies could represent an ideal destination for Sancho to jumpstart his career.

While Newcastle boasts a number of options in the wide position, Harvey Barnes' injury might tempt Eddie Howe to get another winger.

4. Saudi Arabia

The Saudi Pro League has emerged as one of the top destinations for high-profile players.

Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar Jr, Karim Benzema, and Jordan Henderson are among some of the top players who have joined the division.

Al-Ettifaq are said to have made an offer late in the summer window for Sancho, and there is sure to be more interest in January if the winger is made available.

3. Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest are the other Premier League side Sancho could possibly join.

Man United and Forest have transacted in recent times, with Dean Henderson one of the players who has swapped the Red Devils for the City Ground-based club.

2. Juventus

A move to the Serie A could be on the cards for Sancho.

Reports in Italy claim that Juventus could make a move for the United ace as they plan to reinvest money saved from Paul Pogba's suspension.

1. Borussia Dortmund

And finally, on this list is Borussia Dortmund.

A return to the Bundesliga club has been mooted for Sancho, with reports suggesting Dortmund are willing to have him in January.

The forward enjoyed a successful sting with the Edin Terzic-tutored side that saw him score 50 goals and bag 64 assists during his four-year stay at the club.

United resolve to sell Sancho

Sports Brief had earlier reported that Manchester United have reportedly resolved to offload Jadon Sancho ahead of the upcoming January transfer window.

With Sancho's strained relationship with Ten Hag seemingly beyond repair, reports claim United chiefs have made the decision to offload the England international.

The Red Devils are preparing to offload the forward in January after he failed to show any desire to end his feud with Ten Hag.
