Liverpool ace. Trent Alexander-Arnold was named in the starting XI for the Merseyside derby on Saturday, October 21, barely hours after he reportedly survived a harrowing accident.
Trent was reportedly driving in a very wet road in his £90,000 black Range Rover near Knutsford, Cheshire.
Things took a sudden turn for the worse, quite literally, as the 25-year old had to suddenly make a sharp turn to avoid colliding with a high-voltage power unit. He ended up crashing into a BMW instead.
According to SportBible, that was the best possible outcome for Trent, whose situation would have been much worse had he hit the electrical pylon lay, or if the huge piece of infrastructure fell onto his vehicle since the power line weighs nearly 5000 kilograms.
