Sir Jim Ratcliffe has reportedly identified Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi as the possible replacement for Erik ten Hag if the Dutchman fails at Manchester United.
The British business mogul is understood to be on the verge of completing the purchase of a minority stake with United after Sheikh Jassim, who was hoping to buy the club, withdrew from the race.
