Senegal and Al-Hilal centre-back, Kalidou Koulibaly has sent teammate Neymar Jr. his well wishes after the Brazil forward picked up an injury while on international duty.
Neymar suffered a cruciate ligament and meniscus tear on his left knee as Brazil suffered a 2-0 defeat to Uruguay during the FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The Brazilian winger is expected to be out for the rest of the season, which is a big blow for his country and club, Al-Hilal.
However, in a goodwill message from Koulibaly, the defender reiterated the team's support for the forward and wished him a speedy recovery.
"Brother Ney, I wish that you feel well. We received the news which is bad. Anyways thanks for all your doings for us, wish you come back stronger. We are all with you and we need you all the team, family. I hope that we meet soon on the pitch and we see more of your magic. Good bye," he said in a video shared on social media.
Neymar, who joined Al-Hilal in the summer transfer window from Paris Saint-Germain, expressed frustration following his latest setback.
"It's a very sad time, the worst," Neymar wrote on Instagram, as quoted by aol.com.
"I know I'm strong, but this time I'm going to need my family and friends even more."
The Saudi Pro League leaders will welcome Al-Khaleej to the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium on Friday as the league resumes after the international break.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Koulibaly gave Neymar a warm welcome following the Brazilian's arrival in Riyadh after he completed a blockbuster move to Al-Hilal.
The former Barcelona forward joined the Saudi Arabian giants from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer transfer window on a two-year deal.
Al-Hilal were busy in the transfer window, signing top stars, including Koulibaly, Malcom, Yassine Bounou, and Aleksandar Mitrovic.
