"Brother Ney, I wish that you feel well. We received the news which is bad. Anyways thanks for all your doings for us, wish you come back stronger. We are all with you and we need you all the team, family. I hope that we meet soon on the pitch and we see more of your magic. Good bye," he said in a video shared on social media.

Neymar, who joined Al-Hilal in the summer transfer window from Paris Saint-Germain, expressed frustration following his latest setback.

"It's a very sad time, the worst," Neymar wrote on Instagram, as quoted by aol.com.
"I know I'm strong, but this time I'm going to need my family and friends even more."

The Saudi Pro League leaders will welcome Al-Khaleej to the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium on Friday as the league resumes after the international break.
