Whether you rate him or not, it is hard not to feel sorry for Brazilian football star Neymar, especially after his latest injury setback.
The 31-year old, for the umpteenth time of his career, is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines after a knee injury on Tuesday, October 17.
The Samba Boys were defeated 2-0 by Uruguay but the most memorable part of the clash was Neymar’s awkward landing in the first half which ended his game early.
Taking to Instagram, the former PSG star shared an update of his head space to his fans, saying:
"It's a very sad time, the worst. I know I'm strong, but this time I'm going to need my family and friends even more."
According to BBC, it is unclear how long Neymar will be out, but recovery from a ACL rupture can take up to 10 months.
This effectively means Neymar’s season is finished.
