The 41-year-old Lampard, who left Championship side Derby County, will now sit in the dugout at Stamford Bridge where he spent 13 years as a player.

Earlier, Tuko.co.ke reported that Chelsea have named former midfielder Frank Lampard as manager and will replace ex-boss Maurizio Sarri on a three-year deal.
According to the club's official website, the 41-year-old Lampard, will be joining from Championship side Derby County to assume managerial role at Stamford Bridge where he spent 13 years of his football career.
Lampard succeeds Maurizio Sarri, who left Stamford Bridge in June, to take charge of managerial duties at Italian champions Juventus.
