Football'Gideon Mensah Can Never Ever Be Better Than Baba Rahman': Ghanaians React After USA Defeat
- Ghanaians have reacted on social media to the performance of the nation
- The Black Stars suffered a 4-0 defeat to the United States in their friendly
- Ghana have now suffered successive losses in the October set of matches
Fans of the Black Stars have taken to social media to express their disappointment following Ghana's 4-0 defeat to the United States in a friendly in Nashville, Tennessee.
The Black Stars were blown apart after a first-half masterclass by the Americans, with Giovanni Reyna scoring a brace along with goals from Christian Pulisic and Folarin Balogun.
The defeat means the Ghanaian national team has now lost back-to-back games for the first time since Chris Hughton took over as head coach earlier in the year.
The team lost to Mexico on Saturday and with the World Cup qualifiers set to begin next month, supporters of the national team are unhappy.

@EmmanuelAyamga_ commented:
"We’re forced to play a right-back at left-back because of that stinker of the performance by Gideon Mensah in the first half. Like national team opportunities these players dey take joke like that."
@Dom19204346 added:
"Gideon Mensah has shown that he is not a better option at left-back for Ghana. He's had just one good game for the Black Stars and that was against Nigeria in the 2022 FIFA World Cup play-offs. Don't we have a Bibini broni letf-back somewhere?"
@eastsportsman tweeted:
"Gideon Mensah is having an absolute nightmare and it’s only 20 minutes . Dest and Weah are eating him for dinner."
@unrulyking00 posted:
"Gideon Mensah can never ever be better than Baba Rahman. Inexperience player like this smh."
@nancybrewgh tweeted:
"I cannot believe Edmund Addo played over 80 mins and Ransford is still on the bench. Chris Hughton must be out of his mind."

"As a country if Baba Rahman and Gideon Mensah are your left back options then we have a long way to go . I don’t know what Edmund Addo adds to this midfield. The only player you enjoy watching is Alidu seidu . Big fall off"
