Sadio Mane led the Teranga Lions of Senegal to victory in their international friendly game against Cameroon at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis in France.

The Al-Nassr winger scored the only goal of the game as the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations winners defeated the Indomitable Lions.

Mane was part of the 2023 AFCON draw assistants, with his country drawing Cameroon, Guinea, and Gambia in Group C.

The five-time AFCON winners will have a chance to revenge for their defeat in the Ivory Coast next year when they face the defending champions on Matchday Two.

Mane tricks Onana

In a viral video on social media monitored by Sports Brief, the former Liverpool star tricked Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana into believing he wasn't the one to take the penalty in the first place.

Olympique Marseille forward Ismaila Sarr stood in the position of taking the penalty as Cameroon players including Onana were still playing their theatrics.

After the centre referee had chanced all the Cameroon defenders away, Sarr left the duty, and Mane replaced him and buried the kick.

Onana was seen smiling as the Al-Nassr star took up the penalty duties.

Mane will return to club duties with the Knights of Najd in the Saudi Pro League.

Luis Castro's side's next game in the league would be against Damac at the Al-Awwal Park, according to Soccerway.

Sports Brief earlier reported that Al Nassr star, Sadio Mane joined global music icon Akon in performing a popular Senegalese dance on the stage for the Africa Cup of Nations draw in Abidjan.
