Former Bayern Munich striker, Mario Gomez has named legendary Nigerian midfielder, Austin Jay Jay Okocha as his childhood football idol.
The former German international is rated as one of the best strikers of his generation, with exceptional achievements during his illustrious career.
During his heyday, the striker played for VfB Stuttgart, Bayern Munich, Vfl Wolfsburg in Germany, Fiorentina in the Italian Serie A, and Besiktas in the Turkish Super Lig.
The 38-year-old has disclosed his love for former Paris Saint-Germain midfielder, Okocha, according to a report by Soccernet, as per Kicker.
The former Bayern Munich star claimed he fell in love with the Super Eagles legend's style of play.

"Definitely Lionel Messi, even though I was always a fan of Ronaldinho, Rivaldo or especially Romario. But Messi is already in a league of his own," he added.
