Following his two goals in the first half, Ronaldo was the centre of attention when a pitch invader breached security and rushed onto the field in the 39th minute, rushing at the veteran.
The pitch invader, wearing an Al-Nassr jersey, appeared to be an enthusiastic Ronaldo fan.
However, the situation took a concerning turn as a team of security guards intervened, with the Portuguese captain appearing to be accidentally injured in the scuffle, per AS.
Initially, the 38-year-old, who took his tally to 40 goals in 2023 per Fan Nation, was seen limping, indicating some discomfort, but he continued playing until a few minutes after the hour mark when he was eventually substituted.
