The Tottenham Hotspur midfielder has occasionally shown how much humour he possesses with a series of his posts on social media.
As reported by Goal, ahead of England's match against Australia, Maddison showcased his wit by teasing Liverpool defender and fellow England teammate Trent Alexander Arnold in a social media post captioned 'Still asking for a replay.' It's worth noting that this was in the wake of Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp's request for a replay of the match between his team and Tottenham.
This former Leicester City midfielder continued to exhibit his playful side by following it up with a hilarious TikTok video that generated enthusiastic responses from fans.
Maddison's funny TikTok video
In the video, which has since been deleted and was shared by @CentreGoal on Social Media, Maddison attempted a shot that went wide of goalkeeper Matthew Ryan during England's encounter with Australia.
To the surprise of many, Maddison taking a dig at himself, posted this wayward strike on TikTok and playfully edited the video to make it seem as if the shot had journeyed into space before comically striking a slumbering woman, much to the delight of his fans.
