- Balotelli hit back at Ibrahimovic by taunting him about a trophy he had never won
Mario Balotelli is an equal for Zlatan Ibrahimovic as a troll and has put him in his place after the Swedish superstar criticised the Italian's career, describing it as 'unfulfilled potential'.
Balotelli was a bright prospect during his youth days and was named the 2010 Golden Boy for his exploits in helping Jose Mourinho's Inter Milan win the European treble.
However, he failed to live up to the hype because of his attitude and clashed with almost all the managers he played for, including Pep Guardiola and Roberto Mancini.
Ibrahimovic criticises Balotelli's career
Another outspoken figure, Ibrahimovic is one of the most fearless football stars and constantly speaks his mind and hardly ever stops self-advocating himself as the best.
His latest edition of this attitude was at the Trento Sports Festival, organised by La Gazzetta dello Sport, as DiMarzio reported:
"Balotelli? He had so many opportunities to take advantage of his talent and change his future. He never did, that's the truth. There are so many who want to have only one chance, he has missed all the opportunities he has had," Ibra said.

The Adana Demirspor star wasted no time in responding to the 42-year-old with a very cheeky image on Instagram. He shared a photo of himself lifting the Champions League in 2010 and even tagged the Swedish striker.
Ibra never won the most prestigious club trophy despite playing for two teams that won it - Inter Milan and Barcelona.
He was at Inter Milan when Barcelona won in 2009, was with La Blaugrana when Inter won in 2010 and was out on loan at AC Milan when the Catalans won again in 2011.

FootballIbrahimovic sends message to Giroud
Sports Brief previously reported on Ibrahimovic sending a cheeky message to Olivier Giroud, telling him he had 'found a new position' in his 'old age'.
Milan took advantage of the striker's heroics in goal and printed 'Giroud 9' shirts, which sold out in less than a day. Ibra also requested one of the shirts.
