Vinicius Junior has played for Real Madrid since 2018 when he arrived from Brazilian giants Flamengo. He has become a key player for the club and one of the best wingers in the world.
He recently disclosed that he would only leave Real Madrid if he were to join Flamengo because of a promise he made to his father.
The 23-year-old is entering his sixth season with Madrid, and although he struggled to make an impact in his first few years, he has developed into a top player.
In the 2021/22 season, he had his breakout season, scoring 22 times and assisting 20 times, per Transfermarkt. Now, he is considered one of the best wingers in world football.
With Karim Benzema gone, he is leading the new generation of Real Madrid, which includes the likes of Jude Bellingham, Aurelien Tchouameni and Eduardo Camavinga.
In 2022, he scored the only goal in the Champions League final as Real Madrid beat Liverpool for their 5th title in nine years.

Speaking to L'Equipe and France Football via 90min, the Brazil international said he must return to Flamengo after leaving Madrid.
"I think I could stay here my whole career, but the club of my life is Flamengo. I promised my father I would go back one day. I have to keep this promise," Vinicius said.
"I love life here in general, and it's going well for my family too."
The winger is reportedly close to signing a new deal at Real Madrid, and it is safe to say he will be at the club at least in the next few years, barring any injuries or illnesses.
