Bellingham who has been involved in 13 goals in his ten appearances for Los Blancos as reported by Whoscored, has seen his performance attract loads of attention and a Barcelona defender was not left out of those taken aback by the former Borussia Dortmund's star impressive displays.

Barcelona defender speaks on Bellingham

With the international window gradually coming to a close and El Clasico looms on the La Liga horizon, Barcelona's Andreas Christensen was asked about Bellingham's form. The former Chelsea defender, speaking to Danish television TV2SPORT via Sport, expressed his thoughts:

"Jude Bellingham's start at Real Madrid? It's frustrating when you take a step back and consider the results he's been achieving. He's been finding the back of the net consistently in recent games; I've lost count of how many times. He has made a significant impact on the league. Real Madrid has made an excellent signing with this Englishman."

Bellingham has emerged as the top scorer for both Real Madrid and the Spanish League this season, filling the void left by Karim Benzema's departure and non-arrival of Kylian Mbappe's in the summer.

As they prepare to face off in the first Clasico of the season, Christensen would hope that Bellingham has an off day or find a way to tame the highflying Real Madrid man.

Bellingham clinches another award

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Jude Bellingham continues to silence his critics while consistently impressing fans in the heart of the Spanish capital.

The former Borussia Dortmund sensation, whose high-profile move from the German club was initially met with scepticism, has seamlessly integrated into the ranks of Los Blancos.

His string of explosive showings in the Spanish capital earned him both the La Liga Player of the Month and Real Madrid Player of the Month awards in his inaugural month at Los Blancos.
