FootballNeymar, Vinicius Jr, Richarlison Reportedly Partied With Influencers Before Venezuela Draw
- Neymar, Vinicius Jr and Richarlison have been accused of partying before their match against Venezuela
- Brazil were held to a frustrating draw in the 2026 World Cup qualifier match on October 13
- Tensions boiled after the game, with Neymar being pelted with popcorn
Leading Brazil stars could be in trouble after they were accused of allegedly partying with influencers just before their draw against Venezuela.
The Selecao were held to a disappointing one-all draw in the race to qualify for the 2026 World Cup. Arsenal's Gabriel Magalhaes got his first international goal, only for it to be cancelled late on by Eduard Bello.
It was a below-par performance for the five-time World Champions, with home supporters voicing their displeasure. This is set to increase if the claims of journalist Matheus Baldi are anything to go by.
In an Instagram post, Baldi has claimed that Neymar, Vinicius Junior and Richarlison partied with prominent influencers the night before the game at the Arena Pantanal stadium in Cuiaba city.
The post alleges that there is a video of one of the influencers, who was supposedly with Vinicius, leaving the Brazil team hotel on the morning of the game.
The three players all started up front for Fernando Diniz alongside Rodrygo, with Vinicius and Richarlison lasting 79 minutes and 59 minutes, respectively.
Neymar pelted with popcorn
This comes at a time when Brazilian fans were displeased they could only get a draw at home against Venezuela and vented their anger on Neymar, despite the attacker assisting the team's only goal.
Brazilian fans at the Arena Pantanal wanted nothing less than all three points against their opponents and the draw must have felt like a loss, judging by their reactions afterwards.
As picked up by TNT Sports Brazil cameras, as Neymar was making his way into the tunnel after the game, he was pelted with popcorn and what appeared to be a paper carton.
The Samba Boys are now second in the standings behind reigning world champions Argentina. They play Uruguay next week before facing Colombia and Lionel Messi's side next month.
