- Noni Madueke has disclosed his plan to get better in the Premier League
- Madueke was a January arrival at Stamford Bridge but is yet to impress fully
- He has only started once, in the Carabao Cup, for Mauricio Pochettino
Noni Madueke has revealed that he has been watching videos of Mohamed Salah and Kylian Mbappe in a bid to improve his finishing and game at Chelsea.
Madueke joined the club from PSV Eindhoven in January but has struggled to nail down a consistent starting spot despite showing immense potential.
The England U21 international has only scored one Premier League goal in a period where the Blues have had four managers.
He is yet to start a Premier League game for the current Head Coach, Mauricio Pochettino. Despite that, he has been in phenomenal shape for the national U21 side, scoring a brace against Serbia on October 12.
What Madueke wants to improve on
The 21-year-old has admitted that he is desperate to transfer the same form to Stamford Bridge.
"I look at the best. James Ryder, our analyst, clipped up Mbappe and Salah, so I watch them a lot. The way they always follow their pass into the box, or when a team-mate is in the box, they’re always there to anticipate. One thing I’ve got to add to my game is the easier goals, the one-touch goals; that’s what I’m trying to improve," he told the Evening Standard.
Salah has been one of the Premier League's best players in the last seven players. The Egyptian operates on the right flank, the same wing Madueke loves cutting in from. He has scored 192 goals in 315 appearances for Liverpool, as captured by Transfermarkt.
Raheem Sterling, Cole Palmer and Mykhailo Mudryk are currently understood to be ahead of him in Pochettino's pecking order.

Sports Brief had earlier reported that Pochettino had taken a tough stance on Noni Madueke after the winger was filmed at a party while injured.
There had been some growing disquiet over the absence of the England's U21 star from Chelsea's squad. Pochettino outrightly confirmed that he was fit for selection in the win over Brighton on Wednesday, September 27, but decided against calling him up.
Madueke has missed all games since the international break after coming back with a knock. He was, however, spotted at a party after the goalless draw vs. Bournemouth, sparking reactions online.
