The international friendly between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Green Falcons of Saudi Arabian ended in a 2-2 draw at the Estadio Municipal de Portimao in Portugal on Friday night.

Super Eagles levelled things up a few minutes after Uzoho's howler, as Moses Simon tried to set up Victor Boniface but the ball was turned in by Abdulelah Al-Amri, according to Soccernet.

Leicester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho came from the bench to give Jose Peseiro's men the lead in the 81st minute.

The Middle Eastern nation stunned the Super Eagles with the last kick of the game as Mohammed Kanno scored from a freekick to end the match in a draw.

Drogba speaks on Nigeria's chances at AFCON

Sports Brief earlier reported that Ivory Coast legend Didier Drogba shared his thoughts on Nigeria's chances at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations as the Super Eagles face the host nation in the group stage.

The two West African nations were drawn in Group A alongside Equatorial Guinea and Guinea-Bissau.

Jose Peseiro's side is tipped as one of the favourites to win the competition next year, but it won't be an easy ride for Nigeria in the group phase.
