The Super Eagles of Nigeria failed to end their winless run in international friendlies as they drew against Saudi Arabia.

The three-time AFCON winners played out a 2-2 draw against Roberto Mancini's men at the Estadio Municipal de Portimao on Friday evening.

Nigeria were arguably the better side in the early stages of the game but conceded first 15 minutes after restart.

Former Deportivo La Coruna goalkeeper, Uzoho, made a huge mistake as he failed to keep out Salman Al-Faraj's freekick in the 60th minute, according to a report by Soccernet.

Nigerians on social media were not happy with the Super Eagles goalkeeper for the mistake he made in the game. One said:

"Free Nigeria from the shackles of that GK Uzoho"

A Fan wrote:

"So you mean to tell me that the most populous footballing black nation has no Goalkeeper home or abroad better than this fraud Francis Uzoho??"

Another said:

"Inside Uzoho and Onana I no sabi who gba pass"

One also said:

"Nah imagine Eze, Madueke and Olise playing for the Super Eagles and Uzoho concede that goal.. Swears they'd fall to the ground and start laughing on the spot"

Nigeria and Saudi Arabia tie end in a draw

Sports Brief earlier reported that the international friendly between Nigeria and Saudi Arabia ended in a 2-2 draw at the Estadio Municipal de Portimao in Portugal on Friday night.

Saudi Arabia took the game to the Super Eagles, who seemed to struggle stringing passes together in most of the encounter.

The Super Eagles will play Mozambique in another international friendly at the same venue on Monday, October 16.
