Memphis Depay has a reputation for scoring spectacular goals, and on March 12 2017, he pulled off one of his best-ever goals while still playing for Olympique Lyon in their 4-0 win over Toulouse.
The Dutchman left the French side in 2021 and joined Barcelona as a free agent. However, he left the La Liga champions to join Atletico Madrid in January this year.
From sensational free-kicks to cheeky finishes, Depay has scored plenty of great goals, and some of his best came when he was at Lyon.
One of his classics came on March 12 2017, when Lyonm faced Toulouse in Ligue 1. He put Lyon 3-0 up in the 53rd minute before producing a wondrous strike to put them up 4-0.
In the 82nd minute, he swivelled after receiving a pass from Jordan Ferri in the centre circle. Noticing Toulouse's goalkeeper Alban Lafont was way off line, he launched a shot towards a scampering Lafont, but it was too late. Depay got his brace of the night and the win.
The goal was the Goal of the Season in the 2016/17 season. He ended up scoring 78 goals in 178 appearances for Lyon, per Transfermarkt.

During a significant portion of the summer, the 29-year-old athlete immersed himself in Ghana's capital, Accra, where he also dedicated time to individual training.
The Dutch forward took a brief excursion to Ada, situated on Ghana's southeastern coast. Accompanied by family and friends, he engaged in beachside recreation and relaxation.
