Sadio Mane displayed his true African heritage as he arrived at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations draw in his Senegal-made Kaftan.
The 31-year-old is one of the players selected to assist the draw currently being held in Abidjan at the Parc Des Expositions.
Mane led Senegal to their first-ever Africa Cup of Nations title in 2022 after scoring the winning penalty against Egypt in the final last year.
In photos shared on social media, the former Liverpool star appeared on stage in his all-white locally-made kaftan.
Twenty-four countries will find out their groups at the tournament to be held next year in Ivory Coast.
The current champions, Senegal, will avoid host Ivory Coast, last year's runners-up Egypt as well as 2022 World Cup semi-finalist Morocco, as reported by the BBC.
Senegal will however be hoping to defend their title when the tournament starts in January next year, but they will have 23 other teams to contest against.
Africa legends show fashion style at AFCON draw
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that legends of African football arrived at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations draw dazzling in their suit and tie.
The former players alongside some current footballers showed high fashion sense while others arrived in their African-made kaftan.
The 2023 Africa Cup of Nations draw is currently ongoing in Abidjan at the Parc Des Expositions.
