FootballWhen Neymar Built His Perfect Player Using Ronaldo, Messi, Zlatan’s Skills
- Neymar once built his ultimate player using attributes from top stars including Cristiano Ronaldo
- The Brazilian star was a top player of the last decade and remains the most expensive footballer
- Neymar ended his association with Paris Saint-Germain in August to join Saudi Arabia's Al-Hilal
Al-Hilal star, Neymar built his perfect player in 2021 and the usual suspects - Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Kylian Mbappe - were all included.
Neymar recently left Paris Saint-Germain to join the Saudi Pro League and became Brazil's all-time top scorer after passing the late great Pele last month.
Asked to assemble a perfect player, per 90Min, Neymar first picked Ronaldo's physique which has given the Portuguese star longevity and made him one of the best players of all time.
He took Messi's left foot, coupled with his own right foot and Mbappe's speed. The Argentine's left is probably the greatest in football history while the Frenchman's pace is hard to overcome.
Neymar then added some qualities of stars like Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Sergio Ramos, and N'Golo Kante.
"Cristiano's physique, Zlatan's elasticity, Ramos' header, Mbappé's speed, Messi's left foot, my right foot, [Robert] Lewandowski's finishing, Kanté's tackling, and the creativity of [Marco] Verratti."
If these elements were somehow combined into a single player, that footballer could well claim the GOAT title for themselves.
Neymar overtakes Pele as Brazil's top scorer
Sports Brief previously reported on Neymar surpassing Pele in national goals after becoming Brazil's all-time top goal-scorer.
The new Al-Hilal star etched his name in history books for his country after scoring a brace against Bolivia on September 9.
Prior to the game, Neymar had scored 77 goals in 124 appearances for his national side - the same tally as the late, great Pele.
Neymar dazzles in Saudi traditional dress
Sports Brief earlier reported on Benzema and Neymar wearing traditional Saudi attire to celebrate the country's 93rd National Day.
Al-Hilal players donned the thobe, (robe), shemagh (headscarf), and aqal (headband) to perform a traditional dance known as Ardha.
