  • Cristiano Ronaldo is back with the Portugal national team for the October international games
  • Portugal are due to face Slovakia and Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Euro 2024 qualifier
  • The Al-Nassr was caught on camera busy on his phone by Manchester United star Diogo Dalot

Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the few outliers in his generation who are still active professional footballers, but Diogo Dalot made fun of him for having a youngster's behaviour.

Ronaldo reported for national team duty with Portugal ahead of the October international games after a successful past few weeks with club side Al-Nassr.

Portugal will face Slovakia tomorrow night in Lisbon before travelling to face Bosnia and Herzegovina in match days seven and eight of the Euro 2024 qualifying games.

Per Goal, the Iberian country is unbeaten in the qualifiers, having won six of their six games, including a 9-0 win over Luxembourg, scoring 24 goals and are yet to concede.

Dalot trolls Ronaldo

Ronaldo and former Manchester United teammate Dalot are close pals and are often spotted together with the national team, and this break is no exception.

As seen in a viral photo on social media first shared on Instagram by the 24-year-old, he caught a selfie of himself and the veteran forward and added a savage caption.

"This new generation always on the phone @cristiano," he wrote.

There is an age difference of 14 years between the two, and it's pretty fun the United defender could pick on his compatriot with such a joke.

Dalot has three million followers on Instagram, way low compared to Ronaldo's 607 million, which makes him the most followed person in the world.

The pair were teammates with club and country until the former Real Madrid star's contract was terminated, and he headed for Saudi Arabia with Al Nassr.

Al-Shorta star trolls Ronaldo

Sports Brief reported on Al-Shorta player trolling Ronaldo after taking a photo with him following Al-Nassr's 1-0 win over his team in the Arab Club Champions Cup semi-final.

Ahmed Zero shared the photo he took with Ronaldo on Instagram and captioned it, "with the second-best player in history, "much to the dismay of the Portuguese star's fans.
