Zinedine Zidane and his former Juventus teammates reunited in Turin for an exhibition match in celebration of the Agnelli family's 100 years at the club.

The day-long event saw several activities, including artistic performances and messages from the club's legends with the theme 'Together, a black and white show'.

The celebration ended with a seven-a-side football game which saw a Zidane-led team face an Alessandro Del Piero squad.

In a video shared on social media, the former players are seen thrilling fans with dazzling displays and skills as the supporters cheer them on.

On the ninth minute mark, there was a minute silence in respect for the late Italian forward, Gianluca Vialli.

Other former Juventus players in attendance were Patrice Evra, Angelo Peruzzi, Moreno Torricelli, Angelo Di Livio, Marco Storari, Paulo Sousa, Alessandro Matri, Michelangelo Rampulla, and Simon Pepe.

"A wonderful and exciting evening; also this afternoon I met those who wrote our history, a very beautiful day indeed. Lippi? He's a role model, he always has been; a practical and winning coach, as well as Capello and Trapattoni," said Juventus manager, Massimilliano Allegri during the event, as quoted by juventus.com.
"I also saw my former players, who gave me many victories. Juve is a team with many legends, like Gianluca Pessotto, who I still work with today," added Allegri.

He also disclosed that he would have loved to have coached Michel Platini and Zidane.

"Platini, when I was a child, was a point of reference, like Zidane. I am happy and proud to have contributed and continue to contribute to writing the history of Juventus; when you work here you have to live under pressure with great responsibility: pressure stimulates you to achieve great success," he concluded.

Zidane meets Lionel Messi in Miami

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Zidane’s trip to the United States was made worthwhile by his friend and former teammate David Beckham, who orchestrated a meeting between the Frenchman and Lionel Messi.

Messi was unavailable for the US Open Cup final on Wednesday, September 27, as Inter Miami took on Houston Dynamos, and could only watch from the bench as his side succumbed to a 2-1 defeat.

Owing to his injury, Messi didn’t even make the bench, and his absence was felt by Inter Miami players, who lacked a cutting edge in front of goal.
