Manchester United captain, Bruno Fernandes has sent Eden Hazard a classy message following the winger's decision to retire from active football.
Hazard called time on his illustrious career on Tuesday, October 10, after an injury-riddled spell that characterised the final years of his playing career.
In a detailed statement posted on Instagram, the former Chelsea star said that he has 'stopped at the right time.'
"You must listen to yourself and say stop at the right time. After 16 years and more than 700 matches played, I have decided to end my career as a professional footballer," Hazard's statement read in part.

United skipper, Fernandes is among a host of football stars who have paid tribute to Hazard following his surprise announcement.
According to Sportbible, the Portuguese star took to his Instagram story and wrote:
“Thanks for all the good moments you gave the world of football. All the real fans of this beautiful sport enjoyed watching you."
Hazard's most successful career stint came with Chelsea, where he won several honours, including two Premier League titles and a Europa League crown.
Earlier, Sports Brief reported on Cameroon legend, Samuel Eto'o once saying Hazard was 'close to Lionel Messi' following his move from Chelsea to Real Madrid.
The legendary former striker stated at the time that the Belgian would have all eyes on him once he made the switch to Spain and 'had to win' the Ballon d'Or award.
This week, Hazard announced his retirement at the age of 32 following a torrid spell at Los Blancos, characterised by a slump in form and his time on the sidelines.
